Some more local graffiti - this time putting a good use to the waste
left on a vacant industrial site.
I used an app called True HDR to help balance the exposure somewhat -
it also gives the shot a bit of a seventies look.

Multi-media violation

Odd, but for some reason the spray paint seems more offensive than the
actual carving of the tree trunk.

ANZAC Day

Transition

Yes, it was a beautiful day, water lapping on the sand, people lapping
up ice creams....but the breeze has a definite autumn chill to it.

What's in a name?

I recently saw two American cars with a completely different outlook
on naming conventions. The Studebaker 'Champ' is kind of a cool,
optimistic, aspirational sort of a name......but the Cadillac
'Bland'..?!?

Doing business...

....or not. Seems this transport firm isn't operating any longer - I
wonder if it was due to lack of cougars, or lack of young men?

Big Sky

I'm spending a bit of time in the South Island around Lake Tekapo, and
loving the extreme nature of the landscape and vastness of the sky.
Very hard to do any justice to the environment with an iPhone, but
this was a pretty dramatic evening (enhanced a little with the Camera
Bag 'colorcross' filter).

Variation

Shot at the same time as previous post, this shot has been given a bit
of a treatment to enhance the graphic look of the sculpture &
building. Err... I think I used the app Photo fx to crop, add a
graduation to the top & adjust the lightness & contrast.
